the pizza is in the oven for the next 15 minutes, so i figured it would be a good time to post. sorry i’ve been a away for a few days bloggy, that doesn’t mean i haven’t been thinking about you. actually it’s quite the contrary.
the past two days have rocked. i ran into a friend at the coffee house monday and we ended up calling some more folks and hanging out all night. saw lots of people that i haven’t seen in awhile and probably won’t see again until i get back from washington.
yesterday i drove down south of carbondale to the peaceful valley that is makanda. my pals joseph and his finance sarah have a killer apartment above this beautiful little boardwalk downtown. it’s so quaint and killerly cool.
sometimes things are just too perfect for pictures. i took a road that i had never taken before on the way to makanda and wow is all i can say. hills and fields and cows and horses are all over the place. then i come up to the coolest old victorian house that has a cotton garden. i really need to knock on their door and see if i can photograph them picking cotton, which would be so cool.
so here’s joseph and sarah…
